After investigating the City codes, it was discovered our client’s could reclaim the space below their house and we were the right construction firm to make it happen.

First, dirt and sand were dug out of the crawlspace by hand. Then, once a reasonable depth was achieved, a cement cutter was called in to cut a window gap into the foundation.

Once the proper depth was met, we were able to move in and start rebuilding.

Insulation and vapour barriers were installed and by tapping into the hot water floor heating system upstairs, they were able to provide in-floor heating in the new concrete basement.

The finished project housed a family room, TV room and dry storage.

Our clients were so happy with their new downstairs living space they decided to renovate their kitchen and master ensuite as well to create an elegant home from top to bottom.
