Dependable, Hard Working, Trustworthy

We truly care about our clients and that each project is carried out to the highest standards. The Kennedy Construction team is made up of a group of unique individuals—each one bringing expertise, innovation, and professionalism to the table.

Owner/Operator

Andrew Kennedy

Andrew has been in the game since completing his Red Seal Certificate from BCIT in 1999, and continues to stay on top by training through various organizations to be up-to-date with all the latest building techniques. He is a certified Passive Home tradesperson, giving him an advanced approach to energy-efficient design and construction.

Local through and through, Andrew gained his experience working with reputable building professionals who taught him the importance of high standards. He’s done custom millwork, high-end renovations, complex additions and custom home builds—the work ethic gained from his years of working for others has translated into his business values. While Andrew oversees every job, his confidence in the team to carry forward the values he instilled from the early days gives him the opportunity to maintain a bird’s eye view of the work.

When he’s not busy with work, Andrew loves to spend time with his wife and two young boys at their family cabin, spending time with grandparents, and making memories.

General Manager

Will Markham

Born and raised in West Vancouver, Will is a local icon—he knows everyone and everything that happens on the North Shore. A natural leader, he truly values the relationships we create with our clients and trades, and on most days can be found driving between job sites keeping an eye on things. If there’s a detail you need to know, you can bet a chat with Will gets you the information you need. When he gets downtime, he enjoys being with his family and friends, skiing on the local hills, or being out on the water.

Estimator

Luc Bregg

Having grown up in Vancouver, Luc started with Kennedy Construction as a carpenter and site manager before putting his true potential to work as the resident estimator once he completed the BCIT Estimating Program. The practical experience gained from working onsite gives him a unique perspective on the estimating process, since he has first-hand knowledge of how a project goes from paper to reality. When he can get out of the city, Luc likes to go fishing with his family in the Cariboo.

Project Manager

Joe Bauckham

Originally from Ontario, Joe’s been involved in the construction industry for over 25 years and his expertise in residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional projects have been invaluable to the Kennedy team. He has worked on a variety of projects, including custom homes, co-generation power plants, military installations, and renovations of monumental historic government buildings. The more non-traditional and one-of-a-kind the project, the more Joe thrives on the challenge it takes to complete it to perfection.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys everything the North Shore has to offer including all the hiking and biking trails. A previous professional downhill racer, he still cycles competitively and goes to events all over the world.

Project Coordinator

Vivian Moser

Another Ontario native, Vivian moved to the west coast in 2015 and never looked back. Doing a major pivot from her English degree and editing roots, she realized the satisfaction of seeing a construction project from start to finish was where she truly shined. Her ability to absorb information from all her colleagues, clients, and trade partners and distill it into the most effective communication method required at any given moment makes her an ideal addition to the team. Vivian also has a knack with technology and is able to delve into new apps, software, and trends with ease. She is always ready to help out her teammates, drive to a new job site, or tackle a task with energy. When she’s not commuting along the beautiful Sea to Sky, Vivian puts her passion for baking to good use, often bringing in sweet treats to the office.

Accountant

Sarah Valoma

Sarah grew up in North Vancouver and has almost 30 years of experience in finance, including banking and markets. She loves the variety of projects Kennedy gets to do and finds the commitment of her teammates a daily inspiration. When she’s not crunching numbers, Sarah loves to travel, sing and dance.
