History

Established in 2003, Kennedy Construction, has evolved into one of the top construction firms in the Lower Mainland. We started out with a focus primarily on home renovations and worked our way up to reputable homebuilders. Our love of ‘starting from scratch’ and the process of constructing an entire home comes from years of working alongside some of the best builders in the city. Years of quality workmanship, excellent client relations, and an exceptional work ethic have made us who we are today.

Simple, straightforward and focussed, that is our process. We meet, set the goals, draw up the timelines, determine the best avenue for progress and finally get to work.

Step 1

Meet

In our first meeting, we are all ears. Tell us about your plans. Fill us in on your vision. Give us a good sense of who will be part of the team be it a designer or architect. If you are starting from square one and need some direction, we can recommend our favourite design firms. We believe home building is a team effort. Everyone needs to be up-to-date throughout. This meeting will be the first in many discussions. It opens up the lines of communication, so vital in determining the success of your project.

Step 2

The Design

Everyone’s wish list comes from a different source. No matter your reference, by including us in these early discussions we can help with the design process by working with your team; architects, designers, envelope specialists. This will allow us to contribute valuable information. What works, what doesn’t. What’s costly. What’s efficient. What’s doable, what’s not. After viewing your location, we can assist with determining light sources, terrain challenges, accessibility of services and so much more. This is the fun part. Let us be a part of that fun.

Step 3

Estimate & Contract

The plan is complete, now let us cost it out. We will submit a detailed estimate which will include the final budget range. By deciding early on the quality level of your new home, we will be able to provide you with a comprehensive, realistic estimate. Once agreed upon, the contract is signed.

Step 4

Let Us Begin

Now that the contract has been signed, we can obtain building permits and begin. As mentioned before, we keep the lines of communication open. Timelines, how the budget is proceeding and the project’s overall progress is available at your fingertips by using Buildertrend Platform software.
