Excavating a hole large enough to house a deep one-car garage, shoring up the neighbour’s property and building multiple layers of concrete walls to house gardens, walkways and a stunning outdoor deck were just some of the challenges Kennedy Construction faced.

Working with a landscape contractor and Hlynsky Architects, the crew was able to achieve the owner’s goal of a roomy patio housing an outdoor fireplace and an elevator to the garage below.

This one storey rancher now appears so much larger with the added outdoor living space that overlooks their breathtaking view of Eagle Harbour.
