Enhancing Everyday Function 

Every detail of our custom home renovation was carefully considered to improve comfort, flow, and long-term livability.

Indoor and Outdoor Living: Folding patio doors now open into a spacious new desk, ideal for year-round use, entertaining and creates a strong connection to the outdoors.

Bathroom Renovation: In this full bathroom remodelling, our approach involved completely redesigning the primary ensuite with a raised roofline and added skylights. The new layout features an enclosed shower with a bench, private toilet room, and custom storage, offering both elegance and practicality.

Refreshed Laundry Room: We upgraded the laundry room with modern cabinetry, open shelving, and generous counter space to make everyday tasks more seamless and enjoyable.

The team maximized the use of existing framing wherever possible to ensure smooth integration between the original structure and new additions.

Honouring Heritage with Modern Comfort: In the library, painted millwork in a moody tone added depth and character. Original stained glass windows and a new stone fireplace preserved the home’s heritage charm.

We removed the walls between the foyer, dining area, and kitchen to create a spacious, light-filled main floor.

• Heating and Hot Water: A high-efficiency condensing tankless water heater with low NOx emissions was installed.
• Windows and Appliances: Energy-efficient windows and appliances improve performance and sustainability.
• Air Tightness: A vapour-permeable membrane was applied to key areas and sealed with high-performance tapes to strengthen the building envelope.

This outdoor space functions as an “outdoor room,” adding to the culture, activities, and lifestyle of the home as much as any indoor area.
