Our clients wanted an open living space—a seamless connection between the kitchen, dining and living rooms for their Grousewoods home.
This project required us to remove support walls. Additions of this nature require a huge amount of structural work and extensive permit applications through the District of North Vancouver. We worked alongside our client’s design architect and assisted them through the permit process.
The kitchen addition began with excavating an area to install extended footings and foundation walls. Once the new foundation was complete, our crew framed the new exterior walls and began work on the new kitchen addition. Electrical, plumbing, and all rough-ins were installed. The result was a stunning new kitchen and open living space.
