Any classic Tudor-style home built in the 80’s provides the basic good bones necessary to remodel, rebuild and rejuvenate.

The Bremmner’s home fit into this category and through our continuous work with Jamie and Greer at Oliver Simon Design and the ingenuity of Kennedy Construction, the Bremmners were able to witness a huge transformation.

We were grateful to have this project featured in House & Home Magazine, our first project featured in the magazine..

It began by gutting all three floors, in some cases down to the bare studs, and making some slight wall adjustments to reconfigure the layout on the main floor.

The windows were all replaced and upgraded to energy efficient models. A stunning glass, metal, wooden staircase was installed with a sturdy thick beam support running through the centre giving it a dynamic look.

The kitchen which is open and fresh, now flows easily into the family room creating a perfect setting for family gatherings.

New flooring throughout, enhancing touches of grass cloth wallpaper, and clean crisp white paint lifted the interior setting giving it a fresh modern look.

The renovation had its challenges, the biggest being a time restraint as the owners were required to move out while the work was being done.

Kennedy Construction was able to meet the deadline which allowed the Bremmners to inhabit their new home without delay.

Now the homeowners can enjoy the rejuvenation of their beautiful Tudor classic.
